Rapids Contract & Design is ecstatic to announce that our very own Luke Green was named the FE&S 2017 DSR of the Year this past Saturday. This honor was presented at the 2017 FE&S’ Dealer of the Year and Industry Awards Gala – sometimes known as the “Golden Globes of Ovens and Stoves.”

Luke was eligible for this award because he was one of the twelve DSR’s of the Month recognized in 2016. This award is designed to highlight the foodservice industry’s most accomplished sales representatives from throughout the United States. From among these recipients, FE&S then chooses who they consider to be “the best of the best in customer service and sales” to be the DSR of the Year.

During the vetting process, the committee looked at many of Luke’s larger projects, such as the Linn-Mar High School cafeteria renovation, the Kirkwood Culinary Arts Program design, and the Black Sheep restaurant design.

Some of the reasons cited by FE&S for their decision include Luke’s foresight when it comes to seeing (and preventing) potential issues, his determination to maintain solid relationships with all of the contractors involved, and his dedication to detail and making sure each project runs as smoothly as possible.
