In charge of the warehouse of the Rapids Wholesale Marion facility and its staff. He supervises the inventory, making sure items are stocked and they reach their destinations on time when ordered.

“Over the past two days we have been very short staffed. In fact Jason was the only warehouse person here. Austin had guard and Derek was out sick. Jason came in early and worked both days with temporary employees. He had to train them to pick and pack. He also had to verify their work. This occupied his time from 8am to 430pm each day. Before 8 and after 430 is when Jason was able to do some of his primary duties of receiving and put away. Jason did not complain about it, he just did it. I told him how much I appreciated his efforts and his response was “thanks, but I am just doing my job.” He was doing his job and a significant portion of the job of two other people. His positive attitude even when “buried” is something we all should admire.”

Jason is just a great all around guy. This example above is simply a snap shot of the amazing person that he is every single day. I am always grateful for this process every time I get a chance to see our winners be recognized for something that they do on repeat without ever being asked to do so. Some of you don’t have the chance to visit the Marion warehouse regularly but it is always busy. Whether it be receiving projects for the Contract team or receiving large orders of stock materials, Helping around the facility daily to ensure it is kept up and loading up customers vehicles when they come to pick up at our store here. Sending restocking orders to the St. Paul Retail location or helping the Star team load up deliveries. The entire team is always moving. The warehouse team is incredible in what they do for every part of our company and rarely do any of us get a chance to peek into just how critical they are to our success. At the head of this group is Jason. He perfectly sums up the team that he leads. Humble, quiet, but a force of nature when it comes to taking care of our clients. I routinely see Jason take time on social media to let local restaurants know our team wants to help. He is a true brand ambassador and someone we are very fortunate to have on our team! If you asked Jason about this he would certainly play it off as something that he just does. However, whenever you get a chance to have a prospective client about why they should choose us vs any other competitor that is out there, use this example. Tell them that our Warehouse Manager is tireless in working to get them their orders on time and in great shape. Tell them that he is a sample of what we all strive to do but that without the actions that he performs every day that none of it would be possible. Every single one of us matter in delivering excellence and we are grateful for Jason and the entire warehouse team for what they do for our clients daily.
