“This guy is always going out of his way to help his peers and rarely gets big enough shout outs for what he does. Just this week a fellow DSR had to head out to care for a sick child but had a delivery that was set to go out the next day to a customer. The delivery required that all of the equipment be uncrated and put on casters prior to being loaded on the delivery vehicle by Star. A Star tech came over to help get this order ready but needed help getting it done sooner so they could get back out to service Star clients that same day. Luke was in the warehouse working on setting his projects up and offered a hand even though he was swamped with work. In doing this he not only helped the DSR ensure a smooth delivery the next day, he also helped a Star employee get the work done so our external customers could be serviced more quickly. Thank you for never saying “No” to helping your team and always putting the customer first.”

Luke is a silent force when it comes to helping his team out. Rarely do you know he is up to something unless you are directly receiving the help. He never complains about helping his peers but regularly finds time to help his Rapids team when they need. Given Luke’s lengthy and varied tenure at Rapids he has a wide range of skills he can offer that include working in the warehouse, installations, project coordination, and sales. He has never shied away from keeping all of those skills sharp so that he can help out effectively when needed. Luke in a nutshell exemplifies what makes Rapids and all of our companies so amazing. Skillfully and effectively managing the complexity of the job to a point that all the end user sees is a complete and fantastic product and not the madness that ensues trying to get it to that point. Truly, Luke works every day to Deliver Excellence in Every Moment for his internal and external customers and I know I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate his being on this team and helping us be a real difference maker in our line of work.

This marks Luke’s second DEEM Employee of the Month recognition as he had also secured this honor in March 2019. As a result, he will be receiving a $25 gift card and entered into our Year End Employee of the Year voting.
