Our Involvement
Rapids provided a full equipment and smallwares package for the kitchen and bakery operations at Clarinda Correctional Facility. Project Manager Bob Wiltgen led the project, with support from Project Coordinator Tyson Schultz managing sourcing and delivery.
The scope covered material handling and kitchen equipment, dish machine support, and a dedicated bakery production package, along with a full smallwares package to outfit day-to-day kitchen operations.
The completed facility now supports food production and bakery operations to serve the institution's population.

- Heavy-duty platform trucks and stainless steel carts
- Food processor and electric can opener
- Hobart flight-type dish machine service agreement and maintenance kit (FT1000)
- Electric walk-behind floor scrubber and digital floor scale
- Full-size sheet pans, bread pans, cake pans, and cake markers
