Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Highlights St. Ludmila Bakery Project

We’re excited to share that Foodservice Equipment & Supplies recently highlighted our work on the St. Ludmila Catholic Church’s new bakery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This project is a perfect example of how tradition and modern efficiency can work hand-in-hand. The state-of-the-art bakery is designed to help the church produce hundreds of thousands of kolaches, a traditional Czech pastry, for their annual Kolach Festival.

The project showcases a carefully engineered space with high-quality, efficient equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofing machines, and automated filling systems. Volunteers will now be able to bake up to 10,000 dozen kolaches for the 2025 festival, nearly doubling their previous production capacity.
