FE&S September DSR of the Month: Heidi Ostberg!

Congrats to Heidi Ostberg for winning the FE&S September Design Sales Rep of the Month! This award goes to the “industry’s most accomplished foodservice equipment and supplies dealer sales reps,” a description that certainly fits Heidi.

Starting at Rapids in September of 2017, Heidi came on board with a varied career path that included a lot of different design aspects – featuring positions at a stainless steel fabricator, an architectural firm, and another foodservice dealer.

As a result, her approach is very design-focused:

 My projects are design driven first, and this plays into everything I do. If you need someone to truly walk you through the process from design through the final punch list as an integral part of your team, my background allows me to walk with you every step of the way.

She also see each project as an opportunity to connect with her customers and make sure the final design comes together seamlessly:

My goal as a sales and design specialist is not just to design and provide each client with the proper equipment for each space, it is to follow through with every project, to care about what the outcome is.

Heidi works at the Minnesota branch of Rapids Contract & Design, and has completed a number of impressive projects during her tenure with us, including Holman’s Table and Rock Elm Tavern.
