TRIO Entertainment Complex

Rapids collaborated with Evolve Hospitality, Musco Lighting, and Neumann Brothers to bring the vision of the TRIO Entertainment Complex to life, creating a dynamic, all-in-one destination for sports, dining, and entertainment. Luke Green served as the Solutions Engineer, and Matt Guillien acted as the Project Manager, overseeing the entire process to ensure every detail was carefully managed. We took on a comprehensive role in this project, providing expertise in design, equipment selection, and furnishing to ensure every area of TRIO is optimized for functionality and guest enjoyment.

Our Involvement:

• Front of House: Design, procurement of booths, tables, chairs, barstools, and installation, as well as overall project management. All dining area furniture was provided through G&A and Oak Street Manufacturing.
• Back of House: Design, procurement of all kitchen equipment, installation, and project management. We also provided all serving smallwares and back-of-house smallwares to ensure efficient operations.

Located in Oskaloosa, Iowa, TRIO has quickly become a community hub, offering diverse activities for all ages. The venue features four pickleball courts, two tennis courts, and three golf simulators that accommodate sports like soccer, hockey, and baseball. Guests can also enjoy a handmade shuffleboard table and a movie theater with three screens.

Rapids played a key role in designing and equipping TRIO’s bar, restaurant, concession, and kitchen areas. We provided a three-section walk-in cooler, Vulcan cooklines, ACCUREX exhaust hoods, Champion dishwashers, and Atosa prep tables. Behind the bar, we used a Krowne Modular Bar Die system, while the concessions area includes popcorn merchandisers and beer dispensers.

We also supplied all serving and back-of-house smallwares, ensuring smooth operations. TRIO has become a popular destination for sports, dining, and entertainment, offering something for everyone in the community.
