I never asked her to do this, and continued to take it on alone, and she has been willing to reach outside her scope of responsibilities and do more. This will help our coordination of selling parts for years to come.”

Words from our Vice President, Eric Schmitt:

This coming fall/winter, the team at Star will be making the move over to the Marion location. Part of that process is moving inventory and having a solid system in place to ensure that everything is accounted for and moved properly. We added a new ERP software late last year and having Shelby take the initiative to own this process has helped allow others in the organization to drive forward on initiatives that they have as goals for the year. It has certainly been a challenging few months for all of us and what has really made a difference in that time has been the level of problem solving that has gone on within our organization. We are incredibly lucky to have so many team members chipping in with ideas and providing solutions to the constantly changing world we live in. Shelby’s example is one of many but is certainly notable for the level of work that was put in to create a needed fix to a known problem. We thank Shelby for her great contribution and look forward to the continued solutions she will provide!
