“Early on a Wednesday morning our test kitchen was found to have a backed up drain beneath our cooking line. That backed up drain meant that greasy waste water from the combi oven was backing up onto our test kitchen floor. This same day, we had a training set to take place in that space. He took it upon himself to go in, diagnose the issue, go down to our warehouse space to find a way to identify the drain pipe that was causing the issue, find a temporary fix that allowed it to drain properly and then also helped coordinate the long term fix needed to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future. Mind you, this is nowhere to be found in his job description. This is stuff he does all of the time without ever really noting it or asking for a pat on the back. He does it out of a genuine care for taking care of those around him and ensuring that if a problem comes up. He is ready to tackle it. Thank you for all you do for our team!”
